Kipps Apparatus
1. Kipp’s made of HDPE comprises of three main portions namely, acid reservoir, gas reservoir and base.
2. A thistle funnel and a bulb structure are associated with the acid reservoir.
3. The acid reacts with a metal, positioned in the gas reservoir (Middle dome), thereby generating hydrogen gas which can be released using leakproof stopcock having self lubricating PTFE plug.
4. The base has a cap fitted residual outlet for effortless clean-up of the apparatus.
